This Privacy Policy describes how Investment Calculator (“we”, “our”, or “the App”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our Android application available on Google Play. By using the App, you agree to this policy.

Financial & Calculation Data (Local Only)

All investment amounts, monthly SIP contributions, interest rates, loan amounts, target goals, and saved comparison scenarios are processed and stored locally on your device. We do not transmit, sync, or store your financial figures on our servers.

Usage & Preferences Data

Selected currency symbols, dark/light theme preferences, and default calculation settings are saved locally on your device.

Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect or access bank accounts, credit card credentials, contacts, location, gallery, microphone, or SMS. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

  1. Android Permissions

Our app may request the following permissions only when necessary for specific features:

Notifications

To optionally send you financial calculation reminders, updates, and tips (if enabled by you).

Internet Access

To load remote app configurations, fetch subscription status, and serve advertisements (for free-tier users).

  1. In-App Purchases (IAP) & Subscriptions

The App offers an optional auto-renewing Pro subscription (“Remove Ads / Pro”). All payments and billing transactions are processed securely by Google Play Billing.

We do not collect or store your payment card or financial details.

We receive from Google:

• Whether a purchase or subscription is active (to unlock ad-free Pro features).
• Product identifier, expiration date, renewal status, and transaction state.

Refunds and subscription management are handled directly by Google Play.

  1. Advertising

The app may show ads via Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to free-tier users. AdMob may collect device identifiers (Advertising ID) and usage data to serve relevant ads and measure performance.

Users who subscribe to the Pro tier enjoy a 100% ad-free experience with all ad requests disabled.

  1. Third-Party Services

We integrate trusted third-party services to ensure stability, analytics, and subscription handling:

• Google Play Services — For in-app purchases, app updates, and core services.
• Firebase — For app infrastructure, crash reporting, performance logs, and remote feature flags.
• RevenueCat — For subscription validation and entitlement management.
• OneSignal — For optional push notification delivery.

  1. How We Use Your Information

We use the limited collected data to:

• Provide and maintain the App’s core features.
• Deliver an ad-free experience and activate Pro features after purchase.
• Detect, investigate, and fix app crashes and performance bottlenecks.
• Deliver optional reminders and educational financial updates.
• Comply with applicable legal obligations.

  1. Data Retention & Deletion

• All calculations and saved data on your device remain until you clear app data or uninstall the App.
• You can permanently delete all local calculation history at any time by going to your phone’s Settings > Apps > Investment Calculator > Clear Data / Storage.
• Because we do not store your financial entries on cloud servers, no account deletion request is needed.

  1. Security

We use industry-standard HTTPS/TLS encryption for all network traffic between the App and third-party service providers. Sensitive financial inputs never leave your device.

  1. Children’s Privacy

The App is designed for a general audience and does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

  1. Financial & Educational Disclaimer

All calculations, compound growth simulations, graphs, and comparison results provided by the App are strictly for educational and planning purposes. They do not constitute certified financial, legal, tax, or investment advice.

  1. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
